UPAC’s 51st Annual Leadership Awards Gala are a time to celebrate those who go above and beyond in service of our clients, their families, and our greater San Diego community. This year, we will spotlight the storied career of Margaret Iwanaga Penrose, UPAC’s past President & CEO, as she passes on the mantle of leadership at this vital time for our cherished organization.
UPAC will also present annual leadership awards to several individuals and organizations that have been outstanding contributors to the community for decades. This will be an evening of honoring our past, celebrating our present, and building a future for UPAC’s next 50 years of impact.

All proceeds benefit the essential work of UPAC, such as providing job training to youth from underserved communities, mentoring youth who struggle with language and cultural barriers in school, and helping individuals overcome substance use through therapy, medication assisted treatment (MAT), and mental health support.
